Does anyone know what happpened to Buzz and Sonya??? They dissapeared when Aunt Fran died and then they are never seen or spoken of again???

They were just written off the show. We are lead to believe that Buzz and Sonya probably left for college, or went to live with their mother or another relative. Buzz and Sonya are mentioned in the episode of Fran's death.
I would have liked to see them reappear just once during the syndicated Seasons. It would be neat to see them interact with Bubba and Iola.

It's my personal belief that when the show went to syndication that the writers rewrote history and they decided Buzz and Sonya had never existed. The following examples are why I believe that.
1) When Naomi and Vint wanted a baby it was implied that the doctor's thought Vint was sterile. Wouldn't someone have mentioned that Vint had two kids already?
2) When Naomi and Vint were talking about having kids and Naomi wanted the child named Blade, Vint disagree and said if they had a boy it would be named Vinton Jr. and if a girl Vintina. Buzz's real name was Vinton Harper Jr. so if Buzz still existed in the show why would Vint consider naming a second son Vinton Jr?
3) Beyond the first syndicated show when Thelma said "no Buzz or Sonya", they were NEVER mentioned again.
Sure we could guess that they went to college or they went to live with their mother but the show never mentioned it so that's pure speculation. I think the points I brought up prove that the writers simply decided to eliminate Buzz & Sonya and pretend they never existed.
