I really love this new site, I love the calender section that keeps me posted on when my favorite episodes air. I have got to keep stocked up on blank tapes, and just hope for the day it's released on dvd.

Yes I tape the episodes, i get up at early so I can be ready for work and then at 6:00am I watch Mama before I leave for work. Over at the dvd show website, I see mama's family has moved up to the 128th show requested on dvd, so hopefully soon.

Wow, there are a lot of people here. This is only my second post, but I have to say Mama's Family is one of my favorite shows. My grandmother got me watching them, and since her passing, I have continued to watch. The show use to air on TBS, but was taken off. Now it airs on "Ion Television" and I think one other station. Too bad they couldn't have made more episodes. It was a great show! (and this comes from somone born in 1982, who didn't know the show existed until the mid nineties; LOL).

Mama's Family airs now on CMT at 2pm eastern, 1pm central, 11am mountain and pacific time!
Oh yeah I'm so happy CMT has taste and is airing the best comedy show ever!!!! anyone else catching episodes of Mama's Family on CMT besides me? I just realized it was on this network today while flipping channels... God Bless CMT for airing Mama's Family , they have true taste! Thanks CMT

Hello everyone! Just discovered this site. I've watched Mama since the first episode aired in '83. I can't believe I've waited til now to look for a Mama fan site, but am glad I've found it. This has always been my fave show. I literally grew up watching this show. It's such a great show because I relate to it (I'm from a rural area, and I know people who remind me of characters in the show), the storylines are hillarious, the acting is superb, and for sentimental reasons.

i agree with the people on here cmt have the show but when i see the show i try to record it but it didnt work it mess up so now beside recording on my tv i just can't wait for mama family get on dvd so i can watch it over and over
