Oh yes! That was such a great episode. My favorite episode is a tie between The Curteous Crook and the birth of Tiffany-Thelma! The Curteous Crook left a huge impression on me. I can't get over his signature, written so lovely saying he'd been there! I love when Thelma and Iola caught him breaking in Vint's place of employment and bopped him on the head with a giant key! How fitting, how perfect.
The birth of Naomi's child with Vint was also a memorable episode. I'll never forget that trailer coach in the back of Thelma's yard and the naming of the little girl!
I miss this show so much.

:'(They just don't make shows like they use to; comedies now a days just don't make me laugh with the exception of Seinfeld which is the only modern comedy that I enjoy watching. The best shows came from the 1970s and 80s that is for sure

I have so many. Most are from the First 2 Seasons.
I love the one where Mama tries to get a job . Or the one with the drivers license. Also, where Mama crashes Vint and Naomi's wedding anniversary where they are out at that sleazy motel and Mama says "That TV ought to have its tubes tied !"

Oh wow. This is a LOADED question, because there are just TOO many.. I guess my ultimate favorite (or favorites) would be the wedding episodes.. LOVE THEM.. Carrol Brunett and Betty White are HILARIOUS together!
EUNIS: Well, Ellen, surley you must know that your husband Bruce and his secretary, Peggy; why, I believe they're getting weekly rates at Manny's Midnight Motel."
ELLEN:(angered) Peggy??!!
EUNIS: Peggy.... (smurking) Secretary...
ELLEN:(enraged): It IS true! And you all let me believe a lie, my own family!
EUNIS: Well don't look at me, I told you the truth.
ELLEN:(angered): Oh, didn't you just love every minute of it you destructive little beast!!!
EUNIS: BBBAAAAAAAAAA!!!
TOO GOOD!! LOL... The whole show was great, but these two episodes were the BEST in comedy!!

I have so many favorites it's hard to decide which one to pick.
A few of my favorites are when Thelma goes to work at Food Circus, the episode where Bubba, Iola and Thelma have dreams of their wedding anniversary, the episode where Thelma thinks Bubba is carrying on with his study partner Toni, the Thanksgiving episode where they get locked in the basement and the April Fool's Day episode.

I don't have a favorite because I like them all!!! ;D
But if I must choose a favorite episode, I think it would have to be the one where Mama markets her "Mother Harper's Miracle Tonic". The one where her secret ingrediate is Vanilla!
The funniest part is where she sells it at the CLL and all the members get drunk and they start dancing and laughing. That whole scene is hilarious

My favorite show was the one where Bubba wrote a love letter for Vint to give to Naomi. Then the letter gets misplaced. and, everyone reads it. and, thinks it was written to them.
I especially liked the old man working on the icebox.and,mama thought the letter was from him to her.
one of the funniest moments was when the guy George i think his name was.told,mama she had a cracked butt plate.and mama said you'd better be talking about the icebox.

TOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM. I like the letter, with the misplaced love letter. I like the one where Mama goes with Naomi to breathing class when she is pregnant & she scares all the pregnant mom's about giving birth. I like the one where Vint & Naomi get married & Eunice ruins the wedding.
Who can forget the one where Eunice & Mama get thrown in jail agter they hit police officers in the Bigger Jigger? SO FUNNY!
what a GREAT SOUTHERN comedy. ;D

my favorite is when the tornado hits on thanksgiving day....i crack up everytime iola thinks she and vint had an affair and my favorite line is when Naomi says she broke the gravey boat in an accident and she tells Thelma to ask iola and thelma says: you expect me to beilieve that lush....lololol
